Fellowship | | Level: | Postgraduate | | Requirement: | Applications are hereby invited in the prescribed forms from the teachers of public universities and government colleges for UGC PhD. and M.PhiI. Fellowships under the following terms and conditions:
(a) Candidate must be a teacher holding permanent substantive position in a public university/government college. No part time teacher will be considered for the fellowship.
(b) Candidate must have enrollment in Ph.D./M.Phil. course in public universities.
c) Fellowships are meant for full-time research and candidate must be granted study leave/deputation by the concerned authorities, finally selected by the UGC for the fellowship.
(d) Every fellow shall be liable to refund the total amount received from the UGC incase he/she prematurely discontinues his/her work without valid reason acceptable to the UGC. | | Apply Deadline: | 26-02-2009 |
| Facility: | A PhD. fellow shall receive an allowance of TK. 5,000.00 per month and an M. Phil fellow TK. 4,000.00 per month. | | Apply Procedure: | Prescribed application forms for the fellowship may be obtained from the Scholarship and Fellowship Section, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (3rd Floor), Agargaon, Dhaka-1207.
A Pay order/Bank Draft of Taka 100.00 in favor of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, from any branch of Janata Bank, shall be needed for obtaining the applications forms. | | Selection Procedure: | n/a | | Special Note: | - Applications must be submitted through proper channel.
- Incomplete application shall be considered as rejected.
- Complete set of application along with necessary documents, shall be submitted to The Secretary, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 Not later than 26th February 2009.
